Welcome to RB Maxwell Books. I’m glad you’ve found your way here to explore our stories, bonus content, and the ideas orbiting around them. I’m a storyteller by nature—definitely more focused on the heart of a narrative than the technicalities of grammar, much to my editor’s ongoing distress. I have a soft spot for the passive voice and tend to view grammar rules as flexible suggestions.

I’m drawn to stories that entertain, yes—but also challenge. I want readers to walk away seeing things a little differently, maybe even questioning what they thought they knew. When I’m not writing, I’m usually deep-diving into history, psychology, technology, religion, or lost in the power chords of classic rock.

My favorite part of writing is developing characters and plots that linger—ones that surprise, provoke, and stay with you long after the final page. Stories that don’t just pass the time, but pull back the curtain a little.

My latest book, The Floridian Candidate, launches The Willing Fool Saga, an episodic thriller/suspense series with a darkly comedic edge. It dissects corruption and media manipulation while peeling back the glossy veneer of the American Dream. If you enjoy the sharp satire of Wag the Dog, the psychological punch of Fight Club, and the moral tightrope of Dexter, you’ll feel right at home. One early reader described the experience as 1984—with a whoopee cushion.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Robert Maxwell is a satirist and storyteller who uses wit, insight, and an eye for the absurd to cut through the noise of modern life. He crafts characters and narratives that entertain, challenge, and spark new ways of thinking—all while holding a mirror up to society’s contradictions.

His latest novel, The Floridian Candidate, is a razor-sharp exploration of corruption, media distortion, and the crumbling myths propping up the American Dream. Often compared to the biting humor of Wag the Dog, the psychological edge of Fight Club, and the moral ambiguity of Dexter, Maxwell’s work blends bold storytelling with pointed social commentary.

When he isn’t writing, he’s usually studying the human mind, history’s overlooked corners, or marveling at just how strange and contradictory reality can be. He’s passionate about building stories that leave readers entertained—and occasionally rattled in the best possible way.

Unlike the infamous family that hijacked his last name, Maxwell prefers exposing conspiracies to participating in them. While he’s pleased Epstein is reportedly dead, he suspects otherwise—and thinks he may be enjoying early retirement at 51°29′0″N 00°36′15″W.
